Carmen Beasley Drennan ~ July's Extraordinary Athlete
July’s Extraordinary athlete is Carmen Drennan. You might know her as Carmen Beasley, but she just got married, so now her last name is Drennan!
Carmen actually joined us to get in shape to look amazing for her wedding. But she didn’t know how much more she was going to get.
Carmen has been doing extremely well. As a former cheerleader and gymnast, she had an advantage in understanding movement. But she also has really put in the work to learn more and get better.
Carmen attends the later classes, where she has made some great friends. She has become much more confident in her movement, and she is adjusting to her abilities very well.
Most of all, she isn’t as afraid to try new things. She approaches with caution, breaks it down, gets in there, and conquers.
Carmen signed up to look good, and although she looked amazing for her wedding, she got so much more. She got stronger - and that translates to confidence in all aspects of life. And nothing is sexier than confidence!
Carmen, congratulations on your Journey to Extraordinary! There is no destination, because life always offers more to learn, discover, and enjoy. But here at Odyssey, we get to do it together.
